How do the visual, formal and structural properties of the park and its artwork relate to their political and social function? Your review must include a discussion of the Cloud Gate and the Crown Fountain, and describe them with visual analysis. Paper details 
Choose one of the adult service user groups that we have looked at this term (older people,). Then write a Report of 3000 words (plus or minus 10%, excluding references) in response to the following question and using my guidance below

“Service providers and service users should work together to identify needs and to plan and deliver services. For the service user group that you have chosen, what are the main strategies which could be used to ensure effective joint working between
Service users and service providers; and Different service providers (that is, different professionals and agencies) “






Your report should be in seven parts as shown below

Introduction
This report will focus on older people. It will begin by defining what is meant by learning disabilities before going on to consider how many people there are , what organisations exist to promote their interests, and what is known about society’s attitudes .It will then discuss what are the needs of this group ; how these needs are assessed in Wales; and the relative merits of the medical and social model. It will then describe the ways in which service users and their carers are involved and the factors that hinder this cooperation. The part played by different agencies and professionals will be explained including social workers, psychologists ,occupational therapists [add more if appropriate] The kinds of services ,both health and social care ,statutory and private and voluntary ,will be described ,including examples from Wales. The issue of abuse and protection will be addressed throughout. At the end conclusions will be drawn and the report will be clearly evidenced with a range of references using the Harvard referencing system.

Section 1
Define your service user group , are there problems with defining who is and who isn’t in this group, how many people are there, what organisations exist to promote their interests. what do we know about society’s attitudes to this group of service users? What si the extent of abuse? Aim for 500 words and at least three references.

Section 2.
What are the needs of the people in your group, how are these needs assessed in Wales, including the need for protection – set out both medical and social needs ,comment on the “medical” and “ social “ models of need influence attitudes to these service users

Section 3
How are service users and their carers involved The factors that help or hinder effective joint working between service users and service providers may vary between service user groups, reflecting different physical, psychological, cultural, economic and social factors. You will need to show that you are aware of these




Section 4
Describe and comment on the role of different agencies and professionals in assessment , protection and service provision including social workers, psychologists ,occupational therapists [add more if appropriate] The factors that help or hinder joint working between different service providers will probably be much the same, whichever service user group the providers are working with.

Section 5
Describe the kinds of services that may be available for your group ,both health and social care ,statutory [include statutory protection under POVA] and private and voluntary including examples from Wales. Include services through the NHS ,the local authority as well as charitable organisations. Are these services widely available or restricted? Are they under threat because of resource cuts? Are some areas of spending given a higher priority than others?

Conclusion
A conclusion is NOT A SUMMARY.A conclusion outlines two or three things that we have learned from your report [eg service user groups have been very influential in changing policy ; resource cut backs are seriously affecting the health and living standards of many people in your group etc]

References
You need a minimum of 10 to 12 references correctly referenced using the Harvard system. References are what you refer to in the report to support your ideas so make sure they are in the report , and that references in the report actually appear at the end! If you are unsure use Cite Them Right or the Academic Skills web site or indeed any guide to Harvard!

Milestone Two:Components 2, 3, and 4
In task 4-2, you will provide answers to the Components 2, 3, and 4 assignment questions. This milestone is graded using the Final Product Rubric (below), and you will receive formative feedback from the instructor.

2.       External Environment and Competitive Position
Complete an industry analysis and a five forces model analysis including an assessment of the company's closest rival. Be sure to answer the following questions:

·         What are the driving forces of change in the industry in which your company competes? How has your company changed its strategy to address driving forces?
·         Where does the company stand within the industry based on the five forces model of competition analysis?
·         Which of the five forces exert the most pressure on the company? What has the company done to relieve this pressure?
·         What are your recommendations to further reducing pressure from these forces?
3.       Internal Environment and Competitive Position
Complete a SWOT analysis and a value chain analysis of the company you have chosen. Be sure to answer the following questions:

·         How well has the company performed to stated strategic objectives or performance targets? Support your assessment with factual data.
·         Compare the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the company to those of its competitors. How do the vision and values affect how the company will respond to each?
·         What is the core competency of the company? How does this affect its standing within the industry?
·         How has the company used its value chain activities to improve its competitive position?
·         What are your recommendations in regard to the company’s competitive position and value chain activities?

4.       Competitive Strategy
                Summarize the generic strategy employed by the company and how it helps the company achieve sustained competitive advantage.

a.       Which of the generic competitive strategy options is your company pursuing?
b.      Explain how your company is pursuing this generic strategy. How does it fit value chain activities specifically to support its generic strategy?
c.       How does pursuit of this strategy help your company achieve sustained competitive advantage?
d.      What are your recommendations in regard to the company's pursuit of a generic strategy or how it usesits value chain in this pursuit?
Milestone Three:Components 5 and 6

In task 5-3, you will provide answers to the Components 5 and 6 assignment questions. This milestone is graded using the Final Product Rubric (below), and you will receive formative feedback from the instructor.


5.       Strengthening Competitive Position
                 Summarize how the company strengthens its generic strategy through complementary strategic moves. Be sure to answer the following questions:

a.       Outline what the company has done to fit its strategy to the industry and company situation.
b.      Has your company responded offensively or defensively, or both, to improve its strategic position? How?
c.       Has your company pursued complementary strategic options? Explain your answer.
d.      What are your recommendations for your company to pursue future complementary strategic options to strengthen its competitive position?

6.       The Global Marketplace
Summarize company operations in foreign markets and competitive advantage possibilities. Be sure to answer the following questions:

·         Describe which method(s) has been used to enter foreign markets.
·         How has the company gained competitive advantage through competing internationally?
·         What are additional actions that the company could take to gain a competitive advantage in foreign markets?
