To achieve a Pass grade:
Students will develop an advertising / PR plan which contains an attempt at each of the above listed components.
Research and knowledge of the topic and ‘product’ area will be demonstrated by use of appropriate referencing and acknowledgment of sources within the submission.
The submission will demonstrate the students’ knowledge of how their proposals will support/contribute to the other elements of the marketing mix, i.e. product, price, place.
To achieve an excellent grade:
The student will meet the criteria listed above for a Pass, and in addition will develop a plan that is coherently written and well integrated to demonstrate the students knowledge and understanding of advertising and public relations tools.
Justification of the plan will be evident. There will be application of relevant theory within the submission.
Awareness of environmental impacts on the target audience and the proposed plan will be clearly demonstrated.
Accurate and extensive referencing will be evident
