Breast Cancer In Malta

Breast Cancer In Malta
Paper details

Assignment:
Prepare a status report on the local burden of non-communicable disease of your choice. Such a status report should include not only measures of disease frequency available but also figures showing associations with risk factors for the condition in question and also complication rates and the mortality burden, if relevant, with a focus on differences by gender, age, social class.
In not more than 1000 words prepare a plan for such a status report, identifying at least five sources of data you could possibly use, which may include existing publications, international databases, registers and survey datasets. Appraise each source, identifying which of the elements above can be examined using the said data source, and justify your choice for these sources over others.
——————————————–
Important:
My assignment is to “prepare a PLAN of a status report”.
The idea is to compare and contrast different sources of data (international databases, registers, survey datasets, etc.) to compile the information for the status report.
The plan must take into consideration the basic epidemiological parameters such as: measures of a disease frequency (prevalence, incidence), measures of mortality, RFI, complication rates, mortality burden (age, gender, social class, etc.), etc..

Basically, I am not interested to see actual facts e.g. ''The incidence of ChristmasLog Disease in Malta is 1 in 1000''. Rather I want something like ''In view of a status report, as per the incidence of ChristmasLog Disease, source A would be the most ideal to consider over the other sources seeing as the sample population considered by source A is greater and hence more accurately representative''.
