Identify, explain and use at least two different research methods(describe and explain what primary, secondary, quantitative, and procedures such as sampling and ethics are; what purpose do they serve

1.1 identify, explain and use at least two different research methods(describe and explain what primary, secondary, quantitative, and procedures such as sampling and ethics are; what purpose do they serve

1.2 evaluate the appropriate use of different methods for a variety of purposes (explain when it is valid to use primary, secondary, qualitative, quantitative; why you should use a combination for triangulation; discuss reliability & validity

1.3 evaluate the relative importance of specific practical and theoretical factors in research design/methods used. could include consideration of logistics in planning, e.g. random sampling produces weak results with small numbers of participants)

4.1 evaluate the strengths and limitations of design and procedures (demonstrate you are cognizant of, and have adjusted (justified) for the advantages/ disadvantages of different secondary sources and primary sources; bias, outdated material, statistical manipulation, hawthorn effect/social desirability effect in primary interviews and questionnaires.)

4.2 suggest improvements to research design and procedures (adjustment to address the disadvantages in secondary & primary resources) also in evaluation chapter and PRI 8.1)
